Mike started in newsreel and documentary, looking to broaden his horizons he moved to London. As well as working as a camera operator with Stanley Kubrick on A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and BARRY LYNDON, and with Nicholas Roeg on PERFORMANCE and WALKABOUT. Mike then began a long career shooting features and TVC's.

Whilst living in the UK he shot commercials with directors that included Alan Parker, Hugh Hudson, Frank Budgen, Paul Weiland, David Bailey, Geoff Seymour, Barry Kinsman, John St Clair, Bob Brooks and John Marles.

Returning to Australia he has been shooting TVC's for local and international companies working with directors Peter McGuire, Adrian Heywood, Perry Bradley, Shirley Barrett, Bruce Herwitt, Sally Shapcott, Steve Saussey, Chris Dudman, Kevin Denham Tong Ben and Tracey Rowe.

Mike has shot all over the world from deserts to the Alps, products ranging from cars, beauty, food, beverages even cigarettes. He is fully experienced in Blue and Green Screen and all HD formats.

Campaigns include Macquarie bank, Sunbeam appliances, Panadol, Chevrolet, Berlei, Kan Tong, Kellog's, Tooheys New, Camel, Sony, Dove Chocolate, Benson and Hedges, Carlton Cold, Dynamo Liquid, McDonalds, New Idea, AGL, Berri Fruit Juice, XXXX Beer, Mars Delight, Nurofen, Westfield, Huggies, Mailand Cheese, Hestia,Telstra, Darbo, Hungry Jacks and Nescafe Gold.

Mike has Australian and EU nationality.

Mike was inducted into the ACS Hall of Fame on 25th of May 2013.
